Position 1: External Bachelor Thesis Supervisor and Academic Writing Advisor
Purpose
To provide academic supervision, research methodology support, and thesis-writing guidance to undergraduate students completing their bachelor's degree requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Master's degree or PhD in a relevant academic discipline.
Minimum three (3) years of university-level teaching, supervision, or research experience.
Demonstrated experience in academic writing, research methods, and student mentoring.
At least one peer-reviewed publication, scholarly report, or equivalent professional research output.
Excellent written and spoken English (additional languages are an advantage).
Ability to conduct online supervision and provide timely written feedback.
Commitment to academic integrity, ethical research practices, and student success.
Key Responsibilities
Guide students in selecting and refining thesis topics.
Advise students on research design, methodology, and literature review development.
Review thesis drafts and provide constructive academic feedback.
Support students in academic writing, citation, referencing, and plagiarism prevention.
Monitor student progress and submit supervision reports.
Participate in thesis evaluation when required.
Maintain supervision records and communication logs.
Position 2: External Master's Thesis Supervisor and Research Advisor
Purpose
To supervise master's students undertaking advanced research projects and ensure the quality of thesis work meets postgraduate academic standards.
Minimum Requirements
PhD degree in a relevant academic field.
Minimum five (5) years of higher education teaching, research, or postgraduate supervision experience.
Evidence of active research engagement through publications, grants, projects, or professional practice.
Experience supervising master's theses or equivalent postgraduate research projects.
Strong knowledge of research methodologies and scholarly publishing.
Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
Ability to work remotely and meet institutional deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise master's students throughout the thesis process.
Guide students in developing research proposals and research methodologies.
Review and evaluate thesis chapters and final manuscripts.
Ensure academic rigor and compliance with institutional research standards.
Advise students on publication opportunities and dissemination of research findings.
Participate in thesis defenses and examination processes when assigned.
Submit supervision and assessment reports.
Position 3: External PhD Supervisor
Purpose
To provide high-level scholarly supervision to doctoral candidates and support the production of original research contributing to the academic field.
Minimum Requirements
Earned PhD in a relevant discipline.
Academic rank of Associate Professor, Professor, or equivalent senior researcher preferred.
Minimum five (5) peer-reviewed publications within the last five years.
Demonstrated experience supervising doctoral candidates to completion.
Active research profile with recognized scholarly contributions.
Experience participating in doctoral examinations, defenses, or dissertation committees.
Ability to mentor advanced researchers and support publication in reputable journals.
Strong commitment to research ethics and academic quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide academic leadership and supervision for doctoral research projects.
Guide doctoral candidates in developing original research contributions.
Review research proposals, manuscripts, and dissertation chapters.
Support candidates in publishing research in peer-reviewed journals.
Participate in doctoral progress reviews and dissertation defenses.
Advise on research ethics, funding opportunities, and scholarly networking.
Prepare periodic supervision reports for the institution.
Position 4: External Graduation Ceremony Coordinator and Graduation Examiner
Purpose
To organize, coordinate, and conduct graduation ceremonies and ensure the integrity of graduation assessment and conferral processes.
Minimum Requirements
Master's degree or higher from a recognized institution.
Minimum three (3) years of experience in higher education administration, academic affairs, examination management, or ceremonial coordination.
Strong organizational and event-management skills.
Excellent communication and public-speaking abilities.
Familiarity with university graduation regulations and academic quality standards.
Ability to manage ceremonial protocols and official documentation.
Professional demeanor suitable for representing the institution at official events.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate graduation ceremonies and related events.
Verify academic completion and graduation eligibility requirements.
Coordinate graduation examinations, defenses, and final assessments when required.
Serve as master of ceremonies, graduation chair, or designated examiner.
Liaise with faculty, administration, students, and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with institutional graduation policies and procedures.
Prepare graduation reports and maintain official records.
Support the awarding and conferral process of academic qualifications.
